If this Blue Revolution is an anime, the anime will be shit. 90% of anime and/or movies based of video games are horrid to hilariously bad.

I predict a Japanese based event/tournament or something akin, I don't think it would be a new game, but I might be wrong, it's title is a little ambiguous.

Unfortunately, most production studios have a tendacy of changing things in an anime compared to the original source material, usually for the worst. So I can understand Takoto's view on that.

Please no. I would hate to see BB go the same direction GG did. Don't get me wrong, I love rpgs (jrpgs were my first love :D ). While the reasoning is sound, I don't think that would be a good idea. It's fine just the way it is.

They made two decent enough mangas, so I think it's fair to atleast think a good anime is possible.

I don't think this is an anime though.

One decent manga that is completely based off CT's story line, and follows it straight.
Two meh novels (depending on how you look at it, but apparently they weren't written very well and were not too interesting. Phase Shift was interesting to the fangirls though. Very. Very. Interesting. xD)
One well drawn manga based off one of the meh novel.

Even though BlazBlue takes a ton of anime clichés (intentionally) and they work really well in the game/VN styled format, I think it would depend on what studio was directing it as to how well it turned out, though I think most studios that would be within ASW's price range for commissioning an anime series... yeah, it probably wouldn't go to well. ASW are still a small studio so yeah.

Just my personal opinion on this, don't rat at me for it, anyone. >3<;;

I probably think that whatever this is, this won't be a sequel to BlazBlue or the next BlazBlue fighter. They're already doing CS Extend, would be suicidal for them to announce the next entry that quick.
