Yeah but when people see things they love in danger. They try to defend it.
I think if people saw soccer moms complaining and trying to change the story of Blazblue, we would speak up.
Well let me rephrase a bit. The thing is, the people who like the game will just play it, and very few actually go on the forums/contact the company etc etc. Only the ones who seriously dislike what's going on will deliberately go out of their way to do something. Those who love BlazBlue won't even realize what's going on with it unless they are quite well informed and research thoroughly, which i believe there are not a lot of.
Think of it like this. When you buy a bar of chocolate, you eat it and you really like it. Would you go out of your way to send the company who made it, an email saying your thanks and how great it is? I doubt it.
Then there would be someone who has one which is defective or something, they would go and contact the company to complain.
Not an identical scenario, but it's the only thing I can think of.
In the end, even the ones who love the story and want to defend it, I highly doubt would be bothered to protest or do whatever action needed to keep it how they want if they find out it is in jeopardy of changing due to those soccer moms or whatever.
