Yeah, I used to be superly into furry stuff, then for a year or so I was kinda "meeeeh" about it, now I'm back to being like MUST DRAW SONA CAUSE THEY'RE CUTIES.

They're terribly cute. I wish Fursonas and the like didn't have such a bad reputation... they're so interestingly designed!

A lot of things get bad reputation because a very small part of the hatedom is really fucking loud. Furries don't deserve the hatred they get, and IMO are a bit more interesting than normal persons due to the fact that being part animal grants them unique traits that can add to the character.

The scum of it always voice themselves the loudest and other scum use them as ammunition to hate on the fandom as a whole.

I agree. I've seen some really interesting "fursonas" which are shot down just cause "lollfurry". Interesting in what animal parts they take and how the combine it with human anatomy and stuff. And a lot of cool art which involves fursonas/furries is shot down ;;

Another problem is people CAN'T have half human/half animal characters without being branded as a "furry" and because of the internet and dumb people if you're a furry you're a pervert too, so many people stay away from making humanoid animal characters apart from catgirls/doggirls/etc because of that ]:
