May someone direct me to some good Tao combo and strategy guides? I want to play with someone other than Arakune.

why? arakune is awesome!But if you really want advice you should also look into dustloop since they're more serious about BB

i know he is awesome, but I kind of want to play with a character who has standard movements, Arakune is very different from the rest of the cast which is why I like him. I want to use a character who has different combo execution methods.

Combos ^^^

You could check out the DVD you get with the limited edition if you want strategies, and some simple combos.
A lot of Taokaka combos are similar though, get them in air, D -> cancel -> C -> D -> cancel -> C -> A -> D -> Cancel -> C -> Slashy Slashy!
(Something like that, I'm not a Tao expert.)

Standard moves? I wouldn't call any character having standard moves other than Bang and Ragna.

Anywho, tutorial dvd. somewhere on youtube.

It's also funny because the tutorial video was also made with the help of DL people.

Tao is interesting, she's very very fast and has quick attack so learning to combo well with her requires lots of timing and practice.
