HONESTLY I NEED HELP ON THIS MATCHUP, I am sick and tired of fucking get raped over and over again by Litchis who have fucking long ass combos that go up to 4k OFF OF A GOLD BURST and a jab AND I KID YOU NOT IT WAS A LOW JAB.

So how do I fight this monstrosity that is called Litchi? Tell me everything I should know and what I should watch out for, how does this matchup look like for Ragna and what do I have to use mostly in this matchup other then 5b?

ALSO I HATE DAISHARIN AND CIGARETTE MAN

Lol...

Ragna is one of the easiest matches for me to autopilot through sometimes. The real thing you're going to have to watch is predictability, and how safe you're being. While it's important to keep Litchi under some pressure, pressure for pressure's sake will work against you. If you whiff what you're doing (especially after a Belial Edge combo) Ragna leaves himself open in some of Litchi's best sweet spots.

Oh, and don't try and attack during the opening. You don't have anything that can win out over Litchi's options from the distance the characters spawn.

I'd he happy to play you a bunch if you'd like. It'd help me 1. get past the rut I'm in and 2. learn to use the Dualshock less like a derp

Well, if you're GOOD at pressuring, pressure like crazy, Litchi's pressure breaking is her weakest part I think, so abuse her blocking. If you're good enough, you'll get a guard break :3

Also, Litchi has a lot of little tricks and annoyances, so playing against Dietz will help.

Pressuring ain't that easy vs Litchi because she has Tsubame.

When your pressuring you want to leave as little holes as possible. The good thing about pressuring Litchi is that her DP isn't RCable so if she does throw it out you wont have to worry about it being safe or not but ofcourse you still need to respect it. If your going to jump i recomend to always jump in with Barrier( helps catch IAD throws) and dont try beating or meeting her air to air, your ground to ground normals are overall better then hers so take advantage of this, just be smart with your spacing. if she jumps, most of the time its best to just stay on the ground and 6A if you see her trying to hit you with j.B or j.C.Watch out for her kara free fall if your going to attempt an anti air but you shouldnt be throwing out 6A unless your reacting to an IAD or when she whiffs a move. Keep in mind approaching her by air[ mainly IAD especially if her rod is placed] is pretty risky, be as unexpectable as you can if you are going to. her 2A will beat your j.C(lol) but j.B will beat that out.

I guess my question then is why you're trying to IB>ID Litchi, she's going to be out ID range most of the time and you'll just give Litchi a free 4.5k.

And I'd love some games soon, hit me up for some.

I'm the kind of guy you'll have to hunt down most of the time... so better if you just ask me for games instead of waiting for me to be on. Otherwise I'm not usually on PS3 unless someone wanted a match. (see reason #2 for why I wanted to play you for why I'm not usually on PS3)

not necessarily, in order to mixup and pressure well Litchi usually needs to be at a certain distance that is definitley reachable by IB ID. Alot of her pressure options and strings require her to be close up as well. IB ID is still a good tool in this macthup. The time where i recommend to really refrain from trying to IB IDing out of is Daisharin oki mixup

EDIT: Free 6k* ;x
