yeah, thats what i meant. That would be more risky though.

hmm, well if you got the chance a C attack then forward dash (teleport or whatever) might work too.

i dunno though.

just keep in mind though, my extent of knowledge with V-13 is with me being on the opposing end, and me as haku. So its just conjecture from what I've seen.

Thats the first I have seen of someone describing being on the receiving end of Nu without spitting venom lol

i hate her. But its not to the point that i dont take in account of what they are doing and think of ways to get around it. Usually if i can cause the Nu to screw up i can get in and its over, as long as i stay close. (stupid barrier bursts)

hell i still remember in the beginning, all the whining and moaning over Haku being cheap. That sure has held up.

and to me, fighting Nu is like fighting Bayman as Christie >.>

You would lulz yourself to death watching me play, I barrier burst at the beginning of fights by accident all the time

Well, it might not be you, I've barrier bursted without pressing anything many times online.

Your barrier is a good way to get a little breathing room if Noel is on you with her drive combo.

If you get stuck in the corner one of the easiest ways to escape is to try and hit with an attack you can follow up with your teleport. Probably the easiest is forward and C. This will get you out of the corner on the other side of Noel where you can back dash to put her into sword range.

Nu is not very forgiving of mistakes so you'll have to practice a lot.

OK I play Noel and a little bit of Nu so I can help some. If Noel is all over you with her drive, barrier blocking actually makes it a little harder to punish her since while barrier blocking, your opponent is pushed back a bit when they hit you. But in some situations it helps, especially if they are just hitting it and not actually finishing the combos. What you want to watch for is her 2D and 6B(the overheads) and 6D(the low). Just watch for those and you should be able to find openings.

As far as punishing goes, 5C and 2C are really good. If 5C connects you can combo into 2C or 6C and act parser and poof, you're out of pressure and can lay it right back down on her. Also if 2C hit's on a counter, you can air combo them with j.C~j.2C~214D. Your counter assault is also a very good option in this situation.

I'm new to the game so I dunno if this is good advice but I play noel and I know that I stick to a particular series of chain revolver attacks in the combo and I've noticed that a lot of other noels do as well, so you should try and see what they stick to in chain revolver and block and punish in the slower hits in the string, this might not work if they just spam the drive but people who do that wont really know what hit is next so get some distance and punish when they Finnish after four attacks (or so).
