It seems Nu is being replaced with a new model in the sequel.

No longer will you have the little insane girl who went giddy for Ragna. Sure, this Lambada girl looks a lot like her, but I would like to keep Nu in the storyline.

I know a lot of people hated Nu because of how she played, but did they really have to get rid of her altogether?

It seems like every bit of news that would make me excited for BB2 is somehow made less than striking because I feel that Nu will not get to see any of these changes.

I was really hoping the sequel would expand the character roster, not start killing characters off.

well, the only things lambda has different than nu is she does not go giddy for ragna.

i hear its the same robotic voice, and same (though nerfed) gameplay, and the same look rly, just a little revamped on the character art.

Lambda is just an excuse to actually add nu to the sequel even though she's dead. It'll still be the same thing.

i do agree i feel a little sad every time i imagine nu not going giddy in a match vs ragna though D:

I understand Nu needed some changes as far as gameplay goes.

I wanted her to stay in the game for the storyline and character development.

That would be like killing off Tager, but putting another big guy with the same cybernetic enhancements on him and having him mostly play like Tager in the game.

Yes he's filling the Tager void, but it's still not Tager. All the pre-existing fun aspects of having Tager around is now gone.

i hope so, but ive been reading around supposedly Lambda(v-13 replace) is basically v-13 hit with a whole factory of nerf bats along with half the cast.

supposedly jin and rachel got hit just as hard, so at this rate i might just wait and try out tsubaki. even though i wanted the squirrel girl more(forgot her name its been so long)

Nu was...Interesting, with all her Yandere-ness. Although, she can get pretty creepy, especially with her sudden personality shifts -- Not the personalities she has themselves, but how quickly they switch, with practically no warning (The only warning I could tell is if she suddenly gets real quiet and does a lot of blank staring). Who knows -- Lambda might have some new interesting personality quirks. Maybe instead of going gaga for Ragna like Nu, Lambda'll go gaga for someone else? Tager? Jin? There's no telling what surprises she could hold.

...Plus, when Nu talks to Ragna about 'becoming one', I get just a little bit uncomfortable.

I agree, it is sad.

But somehow Nu has to still be alive and achieve her goal with Ragna. If she didn't, there would be no Black Beast and the entire cycle would collapse.
