And on that note what sides would the cannon characters of Blazblue be on?

Hmm...I don't think we've discussed the setting.

If we were going to somehow try and implement the Blazblue world into this, I'd say the sorority would be obviously linked to Saya, since 3 of the sorority members are her clones.

The Lincolns...maybe Sector 7?

There would have to be a good reason for them to revert to steam technology though. Maybe the Murakumos are good at interfacing with anything computerized, so other forms of technology had to used to combat them.
