Rules:

1) Godmodding
Under no circumstances are you allows to injure or kill another person's character WITHOUT that members premission, you are also not allowed to start storylines involving other characters without the member's permission. Any fights/plot twists you want to have with anyone else has to be discussed beforehand with the person via PM.

WHAT COUNTS AS GODMODDING:

-Dealing severe damage to another character you do not own, this includes knocking them unconscious and taking off a limb or outright killing them. You MUST have permission from the owner if you want to do this.

-Destroying/Attacking locations. You MUST permission from me before doing this, especially if its a location where alot of the characters are.


- Undermining other characters. I don't care how powerful you think your characters are, they are not a god, and they are not able to withstand everything, obviously for story purposes there will be time when certain characters are more powerful then others but if I see anyone one hit ko'in everything in site, I will not be happy. If you do this to someone's character, they are fully justified in doing the same back to you, I'd like to warn everyone I've had some experience in god modding like this, so undermine my characters if you dare

-MAKING UP ABILITIES
Do not make up abilities as you go on, you are limited to what it says in your "weapons and abilities" tab, if you wish to add abilities, let me know via PM.

2) No inappropiate posts
This is a serious RP about what could happen in the next chapter of the Blazblue story, no stupid posts involving unnesscary sexual references or references to internet/blazblue memes, like, don't call Hazama a troll, don't have Jin get a hard on for Ragna and so on. Occasional humour that MAKES SENSE in terms of the character(s) in question is ok though.

3) Activity
If you sign up, you will need to keep active in this, atleast one detailed post every two or so days, when I say detailed, I mean comment on what the character is thinking/feeling, what is happening around him, not just posting what they're saying. If you can't be active in the RP for any reason or wish to stop posting, you must let me know via PM and delegate your characters to someone else, I will not be responsible for anyone that falls behind due to unexplained absency.

No trolling, no jokes, no NOTHING OOC is allowed in the Roleplaying thread, Sign Up Thread, Theme Song Thread or the Original Character (Only no trolling applies to the last three) , I will not tolerate people mocking this project which I and the others have worked hard in creating and sustaining. People have already been banned for doing this, and if you do this, I will report you to the mods, you have been warned.

5) Flaming/Insults
I won't tolerate any flaming or insults going on, if you have a problem with what someone is doing, you give constructive criticism or you shut up. There will be zero tolerance here. If you receive offensive PMs or messages on MSN, AIM (anything) from anyone else in the RP, let me know. There will be ZERO tolerance on this rule.

6) Orignal Characters

make original characters if you wish but try not to make dozens and dozens of them.

You face warnings and possibly a ban. I will warn you via PM three times and after that I will ask that you stop posting in the RP, kill off/delegate your OCs and find new owners for any main characters you owned, if you ignore the ban and try to continue posting, I will get in touch with the moderators and see if they can delete your posts.

So What is Blazblue Zero?

It's a prologue to Blazblue but with a twist, it will take place in the same universe as the Blazblue 3 RP that I and others have worked. So our Original characters that existed in this timeline will be present. However, don't think that means you aren't allowed to join this, part of the reason I'm doing this is to allow others to take part in our take on the Blazblue universe in a seperare episode, like the previous RP, main characters will be up for grabs for anyone who wants them, but characters like Relius and Ragna (aka Bloodedge) will be taken on by the people who play them in BB3.

Also, to BB3 players, what we're basically doing is moving our super old flashbacks to this new thread to avoid cluttering up the other roleplay with flashbacks so you HAVE to post in this (if you have a character that existed in this time line).

What is the time line you ask? It's the dark war essentially, so the roleplay will begin with Shuuichirou Ayatsuk, Relius and Terumi's accidental release of the Black Beast onto the world.

Then we'd basically run through the events of Phase Shift 0 & 1 while going into more detail and coming up with our own plot twists about stuff not elaborated yet.


Main Characters:

Ragna (Bloodedge)
Unknown to him, he has been transported back into time after the events of the first Blazblue, after Nu absorbed his Azure she became the Black Beast. Without the Azure, Ragna is by no means close to as powerful as his previous self. He is currently unconscious in the woods somewhere (basically waiting to be found by Caelica) and will remain so for the time being.

Rachel Alucard
The young noble vampire girl, she currently lives in her mansion along with her father, Clavis Alucard, husband Tazuka Nospheratu and butlers Valkenhayn Hellsing and Claudandus Riverbound. She assists her father and Tazuka, who both act as observers in any way she can.

Relius Clover
A scientist who works alongside Shuuichirou Ayatsuki and Yuuki Terumi, it is their experiments regarding the boundury and the first prime field that released the black beast.

Mitsuyoshi
The beastkin who would later be known as Jubei, a powerful warrior he acts a contact to Clavis Alucard along with his brother, Tomonori, occasionally doing important jobs required of them.

Tomonori
Tomonori is a white-haired cat beastkin and Mitsuyoshi's younger brother. He was a proud and reticent man of "faith" who believed he could do anything he set his mind to, no matter how dangerous. Like his brother, he is a contact of Clavis Alucard who assists the old vampire when he requires his assitance.

Konoe "Nine" Mercury
An elite member of the Magic Guild, a powerful witch with a bad temper. Although she can display acts of kindness on occasion, she is good friends with Trinity and her sister Caelica.

A member of the magic guild and Nine's best friend, she is a kind and patient girl, she has a nickname as the "Platinum Alchemist" due to her powerful healing powers.

Yuuki Terumi

He worked alongside Relius and Shuuichirou Ayatsuki, unknown to Shuuichirou, Relius and Hazama were putting souls into the control they were using for their prime field experiments in order to create the sword of the godslayer, while doing this. The Cauldron malfunctionned and unleashed the Black Beast unto the world.

When Jin Kisaragi was transported to the past, Rachel Alucard took the Susanoo Unit and bonded it with him, creating Hakumen. He would be the one who would eventually lead the war on the Black Beast.

A werewolf and a loyal servant to the Alucard family. He is also a powerful warrior in his own right. Is mainly a kind and polite old man however in battle he can turn into a frightening and savage opponent.

Caelica Mercury
Nine's sister and another member of the magic guild, she, like Trinity is particulary good at healing magic. She is a very kind and caring girl, the kind that would help out a complete stranger and not one to leave someody who was injured.

Kazuma
A young, green haired man that is a member of the magic guild. He has amnesia and cannot remember his early life. He is a secluded individual that dislikes physical activity and would rather read a book. He does not have many friends as he makes other people feel uneasy when they are around him. He is actually a puppet created by Relius Clover that Terumi intends to merge with to gain a new body.

Clavis Alucard
The current head of the Alucard Family. An ancient vampire who has lived for over a thousands years. He is one of the observers of the human race, the other being Tazuka Nospheratu. He is a frail old man who mainly gets around in a wheelchair but still wields powerful sorcery.

Human: self explanatory, rely on technology alot more then the others. Cannot use magic unless one of their parents is a witch/wizard.

Beastmen/Human-likes: They are like humans, only with animal features, Makoto, Kokonoe, Jubei and Taokaka are examples. They are unable to use magic unless one of their parents was a witch/wizard.

Witch/Wizard: Almost exactly like humans but can use magic, alot of them are apart of the magic guild. Essentially a school of magic that is run by the great witch Nine.


Vampires: they appear as humans but the main differences are pale skin, red eyes and fangs, they have a taste for human blood but it is not required for them to survive. They can live for a very long time and as such, age very slowly. They use sorcery, which is a more advance form of magic.

Werewolves: like vampires, they appear as humans but have the ability to change into a "wolf form" at will, like vampires, they can live for very long periods of time and even in their human form, they can sharpen their nails or teeth at will (and momentarily change their body parts to wolf parts). They can useSorcery.

Artificial: This race is if your character was not born but created (and isn't a murakumo unit), Tager is an example of this.

Age: ???? (true age is unknown, it is beleived he has lived for several hundred hears)

Weapons And Abilities: Tazuka can create shadow like weapons that he can summon and dismiss these at will. Being a vampire, he chooses to use sorcery over magic and his main affinity is with darkness and space distortion. He is able to travel through the corridor of darkness as a shadow seemingly flat against the ground, he is almost completely undectable in this form.

Personality: A young vampire who values and loves life, he dislikes that he cannot intervene as much as he would since he is an observer but accepts his position all the same.
History: Born into the noble Nospheratu family, he was brought up by his father after his mother died when he was very young. He soon met Rachel Alucard as their fathers were good friends. Eventually, the two fell in love and were married. Sadly, his father feel ill soon afterwards and died, passing on his duty of observer to Tazuka.

Name: Ryuukan (Liu Guan)

Age: 29 (Probably the same age as Litchi)

Race: Human

Weapons and Abilities: He possesses a staff made out of the oak of the World Tree, but unlike Litchi, the staff is pretty much just normal weapon without overly crazy attributes, although it does turn into a nunchaku or sansetsukon when necessary. Instead, he relies more on powerful fist fighting. His style is a combo of Shaolin Kung Fu and Jeet Kune Do (So expect Bruce Lee-style yells), aside of some chi control perfected by him.

Appearance: Jet black pants and mostly shirtless. He's got a black hair with white stripes. His body is well-toned due to lots of training regiment, but he still managed to be a decent looking man... with hairs. He does wear a black jacket on his body when not fighting.

Allegiance: Is on good terms on both the Alucard manor and the Magic Guild. His loyalty, however, lies within the World Tree as he's the appointed guardian for it.

Personality: Calm, dedicated to the force of goodness. Ryuukan is a kind soul who'd help people in need, as his temple taught him. However, he's not that much of a pacifist, if situation calls, he'd fight to his best. Already married (his temple allows marriage), he's also a family man and loved his wife very much and very protective to her. As a fighter, he's an encouraging man and spirited competitor, but if you are evil, he shows absolutely no mercy.

History: Ryuukan is the appointed guardian of the World Tree. At a time, the World Tree also prophesized the presence of the Black Beast that will engulf the land and summoned several chosen ones to give it protection. Ryuukan was one of the few and the chosen ones were put to a set of battles, where eventually Ryuukan won, defeating some sort of member from the Magic Guild (that is soon driven off by Nine) in the last battle and achieved the rights by the spirit of World Tree to be its protector. He was given his staff made out of its oak, an indestructible staff which has three modes of combat: Normal staff, nunchuk and sansetsukon.

Ever since, Ryuukan has been resuming his life and duty as a monk and protecting his family. The staff becomes a heirloom of his family and would be passed through generation. He sensed that indeed, the Black Beast would come, but he started to wonder if that Magic Guild member had something to do with it. He secretly conducted an investigation about it...

(This 'Magic Guild Member' turns out to be a servant of Terumi or something)

Hobbies: Meditation, Training.

Likes: His family, children, Friendly Match.

Dislikes: Evil, Hesitation, Foul Play

Perhaps yes, perhaps not. That 'magic guild guy' was meant to be a stand-in for Shang Tsung, at best I'd develop him further, at worst he'd be just a passing mention by my OC or Terumi.

Race: Wizard

Weapons and Abilities: A very powerful wizard who's magic mainly revolves around his ability to manipulate both weather and nature. He can temporarily change the weather of the immediate area, manipulate and animate plant life to do as he commands via telepathy. He wields a staff to strengthen these powers and it can also act as a melee weapon.

Allegience: Magic Guild

Personality: A stern but fair man, very strict about the safety and secrecy of the magic guild. Takes his role of training all the young witches and wizards that are under his academy very seriously.

History: He is the current leader of the magic guild and acts as a principal of sorts. The guild was started by his ancestors and his father and grand fathers before him had taken on the same role he has now. As such, he takes pride in his position and teaching the next generation of witches and wizards.
