An excited Luna paced back and forth. "I've never held my own festival before!" However, the young royalty was not alone, and was accompanied by her royal advisers and guards. They stood, at attention. Luna, embarrassed at her display of giddyness, continued with an "Well, uh... we're going to need to keep everything in check... what did Celestia always do?"

A royal adviser, well within his years, stepped forward, solemnly saying "She kept a check on things. Equestria is naturally very peaceful, and there was little need for drastic political matters."

Luna, flustered, replied "But if I check on anything, everypony will know something is wrong..."

The young royal guard that had given Luna the news then said "One of us could always do that for you."

"I suppose," responded Luna.

A younger royal adviser spoke up, slightly agitated "I'm more concerned with how we'll get Celestia back, Princess."

"I-I'm working on it..."

"And, I don't mean to be rude, but I don't think you're fit to rule Equestria," added the same adviser, in a haughty matter-of-fact tone.

The older adviser had then stepped forward, more than displeased with the younger adviser's display "She will do just fine."

"Experience is the best tutor," replied the other, almost immediately, "and I find that this child lacks it."

"Silence yourself, she can learn quickly."

"Your faith is respectable, but it could be better placed."

"Quiet!"

All looked at Luna, with startled expressions. "Arguing will get us nowhere, we have to focus on what's going on now," she continued. The counsel nodded and voiced their agreement, as they continued their discussion.

Making his way into Ponyville, Big Mac found the source of the scream. "That's that fussy unicorn sis goes on about" he mumbled. Not wanting to impose, but also wanting to find out what was wrong, Big Mac walked over to the down unicorns and helped them up. "You all right ladies?" said the stallion.

"Well, I was going to visit Rarity and see what her plans are... But I just heard the news, I don't really know who else is going."
Fluttershy looked around for a moment somewhat anxiously, not wanting to brush off Rainbow, but indeed, she should be heading off soon to find Rarity.

Then, hearing a distinctive shriek of anguish relating to somepony's hair, Fluttershy turned toward the direction it had come from. "Oh my, that sounds like Rarity... I'm sorry, Rainbow Dash, but I should go check on her." Unfurling her wings, the little pony gently took off to see what had happened.

Rainbow Dash stretched and yawned one last time.

"Well, It's my day off, so I've got nothing else to do."

Rainbow dashed off to follow Fluttershy and say hello to Rarity

"Consarnit!" Apple Jack mumbled dropping the rolling pin. Her hooves were throbbing after having finished baking about eight pies. The pile of apples behind her was twice as tall as her. "I think I need some help here...". She paused, thinking about who to ask for help. "There's Pinkie Pie, but I ain't sure if she got over the last time I helped. I can make pies mighty fine, but this is a job for two." Picking up the roller with her teeth, she laid it on top of the table next to the dough. She looked at the pies she had made and then looked back at the apple pile.

"Gotta get Pinkie fer this." she said, trotting away.
