DP motion is Z (like you start at forward then go down then down forward then forward)

Fireball motion is _J (like you start at down then go right then go up)

Lol i should have asked it different.

Is it like Half circle, quarter circle, or a Z type of motion? Because for me to understand the number form i need to right down the numbers and then draw or right what the motion is so i can get the hang of this stuff. Sorry for not explaining myself well.

yeah im kinda in the same boat as you, im still getting used to the numpad system, ok so 236 is your quater circle motion and 623 is your 'z' motion

Thanks. Glad to know im not the only one.

For a 623 motion are you able to start at 6, slide down to 2 the up to 3? Or do you tap to 6, tap to 2 and slide to 3? (Thinking analog sticks)

For DP, you do 6 then slide to 2 then 3 then 6, basically you do 6 and then a quarter circle motion and then the attack button. For Inferno Divider for example it would be C

actually, you dont have to hit the 6 again. I mean if thats easier for you it does work. I used to imput like that. But its damn dear impossible to do rapid sequential DP's like that so i stopped.

So to answer your question, yes you can slide from 6 down to 2 then end on 3. Im not sure what you mean by "analog sticks" tho.

I mean sticks in general, so by sliding down from 6 to 2 you'll inevitably hit 3 as well. Though you guys answered it regardless if there was a misunderstanding with 'analog sticks.'

When you do the 3 you will kinda hit 6 too, and it is easier to do 6236 then 623, even if you mash DP, are you going to mash 236236236236236236 or 623 623 623 623 it's impossible to mash 623, and 6236 is much more convenient.

But that's just me
