So, today was supposed to be the day when the rest of the DLC comes out for euro.

Meaning the announcer voices, the colours, Mu-12 and the unlimited characters.

anyone seen them up yet? I checked earlier but saw nothing new.

I'll get the Unlimited Characters, don't care much for colours or announcers and I already unlocked Mu.

So can all of these things be unlocked normally without DLC?

Extra colour palettes, announcers and DLC characters have to be brought.

But Mu, and the Unlimited forms of the characters can be unlocked in-game.

Getting all unlimiteds is pretty tedious though because you have to clear score attack with everyone to get their one.

Oh shit, I can't even get past Tager, and that's with my main.

Score Attack is not easy with Makoto. I have beaten it once without using the second controller trick, but it is very difficult. Here's some tips if you just want to get through (note that Makoto's unlimited mode is already unlocked, so it's not necessary to take her through Score Attack, but it is fun and good practice for your reflexes):

1. BANG
Difficulty: Easy
Just beat the snot out of him. He has a habit of abusing overheads and using his 3C slide. Watch for those and you'll be fine.
2. TAOKAKA
Difficulty: Very Easy
Taokaka is such a push over to Makoto that you should still have over 75% health when you beat her. Just make sure you wait for an opening between her drive attacks.
3. TAGER
Difficulty: Easy or very difficult, take your pick
Just spam Comet Cannot, IB his Spark Bolt and you can get perfects every time. Or you can take the hard route and actually fight him head on. Not a good idea, but good practice. This is where you need to know Makoto's spacing options.
4. CARL
Difficulty: Moderate
Carl can be a pain sometimes. Just try to stay on top of him, use DPs and stay away from Nirvana. He should go down without too much trouble.
5. NOEL
Difficulty: Easy
Just spam Comet Cannon. If she gets in close, watch for her Chain Revolver and retaliate accordingly. A well timed 6C is very awesome to keep Noel away.
6. ARAKUNE
Difficulty: Easy
Another easy fight. Arakune will almost always follow the same pattern. Hit him with a bnb when he teleports behind you at the beginning of each round for a guaranteed 3k everytime (he won't always do this, but most of the time).
7. LITCHI
Difficulty: Hard
This is a tough fight. Litchi continuously puts pressure on you with her staff, so at the beginning of each round, get away from her! Spam Comet Cannon until you hit her, then rush in and do a bnb. If you knock her into the air with Lunatic Upper, she will almost always try to get to your backside so do Corona Upper to punish this. Keep her away from her staff and it will be easier. If you are in the corner, use a burst or block her attacks, then retaliate. If Litchi is in the corner, do 5k bnbs to quickly finish her off (it is possible to get perfects against Litchi, just not easy to do so). This is tough, so don't be surprised if you lose often to her.
8. JIN
Difficulty: Easy
Jin is easy, just watch for his ice swords. Spam Comet Cannon because it can go through most of his projectiles. Time them carefully however because he uses lots of invincibility frames and his ice swords are faster than Makoto's Comet Cannon. He should go down without too much trouble.
9. LAMBDA-11
Difficulty: Moderate
You must get in Lambda's face ASAP, else she'll rape you with her superior range. Usually I go for a 6C or a Corona Upper at the beginning of each round. Push Lambda into the corner and pummel the snot out of her. Do not let up for a second, else you will regret it!
10. TSUBAKI-11
Difficulty: Moderate
Get away from Tsubaki since the computer abuses her DPs. Spam Comet Cannon until she gets close. When she does, delay Comet Cannon so that she is hit with the full effect and is knocked backwards to the other side of the screen. Rince and repeat. If you are trapped in the corner, block Tsubaki's attacks and perform an Asteroid Vision C~B to get out of there else Tsubaki will quickly slaughter you.
11. UNLIMITED HAKUMEN
Difficulty: Hakumen
Hakumen is Makoto's hardest fight, and for good reason. All of his attacks can instantly shut down anything Makoto throws at him and then he can pummel you for 5-6k. Perform 6C to hit through Hakumen's 41236C attack then rush him until he recovers. When he does, use a mix up game of throwing him, attacking low (he almost never blocks low), or performing Corona Upper. Use bursts if you are trapped in the corner. If Hakumen air dashes, use 6A and then punish him in the air for 2k. He can be defeated, patience is the key!
12. UNLIMITED HAZAMA
Difficulty: Easy
Believe it or not, Hazama is the easiest of the Unlimiteds in Score Attack for Makoto. If you are close to Hazama, jump backwards and air dash backwards so he whiffs with 623C. While he is open, spam Comet Cannon until he blocks it. He will then shoot Ouroborous twice, first straight ahead of him and then he will jump toward you and shoot it from the air. It is possible to time Comet Cannon to hit him when he does, but it's safer to wait when he goes to the air. As soon as he uses j3D, jump over it and punish him for 2k. Hazama has a lot of health, so with patience, he will go down.
13. UNLIMITED RAGNA
Difficulty: Moderate
Do not get hit by Ragna else you will lose enormous life while he heals himself. He has a habit of abusing Guantlet Hades and Inferno Divider. Learn how to make him whiff both attacks. When he whiffs, pummel him with a bnb. Do not get hit by Dead Spike! It will remove THREE guard primers! Ragna's health is not like it is in CT, so he will go down quicker than Hazama.
14. UNLIMTED RACHEL
Difficulty: Very Hard
This is not a good fight for Makoto. You must watch Rachel's patterns very carefully in order to win. Always block at the start, because she always uses three Sword Iris's that shoot in one or the other direction. If up close, spam Corona Upper (she will rarely block it) until she goes down. If you are far away, continue to block her attacks (and watch out for George). She will eventually rush you and attack up close. Be patient, block her attacks and watch for an opening. Also, watch for her DD, if blocked, it removes THREE guard primers! With perserverence, you will prevail.

I hope this is helpful. I wonder if I should repost this in the Makoto thread...

i find litchi probably easiest for score attack. sometimes, the ai gets dumb and keeps jumping back, and u can just constantly throw the staff at them. i swear tager matches go like this
-place staff, throw staff, place staff throw staff, win by time out, or run/pull off some attacks if he manages to get close. he keep hopping back and forth from full screen distance.

litchi has some crazy high damage combos that aren't too hard to pull off.

i havent gotten pass u.hakumen yet though but been close a few times, and havent tried too hard(hate score attack).
