if so, good to see Litchi didn't get smacked too hard by the nerf hammer. Still not 100% fond of how they screwed over her staff mode, but I have no doubt she'll still be at least sub material. Even if not, I can't just give her up. She is my favorite story character and holds my most favorite personality (tied with Plat, of course) so I'll have to bring myself to at least sub her.

I'll main her no matter what. I love staff-based characters, so removing the staff from most of Litchi's game other than approach and low-end combos (or DDs) makes me kinda disappoint, but she's still my favorite character, and I'm not going to drop her because she sucks (I didn't drop Seong Mina in SC4, so yeah...)

But I still hope her combos are fun and not jerky and stuffz.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not dropping her for fear of her 'sucking' (you probably know this most of all, but I'm just saying this for the "uninformed" crowd I suppose). I just found that her zoner side is being crippled in favor for her rush-down side to be quite... unfavorable. Honestly, her rush-down side is much too vanilla and bland. Sure, her zoner side still there, but it's not as in the spotlight or even as present as before. I'll still probably enjoy her, just not as much.

Her combos look similar at times, (like, when you land a lucky Haku > Hatsu and your staff is in the magical place of magic in which you can land on it and continue CS style) but most of the time she's doing jerky staffless loops (not like the 5C yadda blah in CS, that had some nice flow) it's all like j.B > j.C (delay) j.B (land) repeat, it just looks... unnatural and weird. :/

But you know. I have yet to play her, I might find her just as fun as CT and CS but in a different way.

If I do get over my trauma, I would still play her. I am a man who'd flip my middle finger to tier lists happily. With full force.
