Sex sells though, and alot of producers and developers know this, it's been proven time and time again that the majority like to see boobs and sex, thats why alot of shows incorporate scene's of sex, romance or relationships, because it's not only something most of us can relate to but it's also entertaining to those who can't.
Anytime you buy or watch something from japan, or korea it will most likely have something suggestive, in japan sexual content in generally more of a target for humor, the differance is culture, sexual content, especially in anime-style is not as accepted here as it is there, it ultimatly boils down to appreciation no matter what the content is about.
I think anyone playing anything from japan should automaticlly expect it to have some sort of sexual referance, and if you deny that, then you are kidding yourself, it's much easier to find adult material from japan and within anime style than anything else.
Take a look at the game Catherine for example coming from Japan, it's a puzzle game marketed as "Erotic", Record of Argarest War is a RPG dating sim where you bang a girl in your party to make a new character. There are plenty of non-erotic anime's and games, absolutly, the key word is the -majority- are have fan service amung other things and the -majority- of people will buy it for that reason alone.
One last example of low-tollerance to "anime style sexual themse" is that MMO Tera, for those who don't know, there are small women (yes, women because the lore says they are hundreds of years old before they bare arms)

In Conclusion, i have noticed over the years that the loudest people are the one's who are against something (negativity) or think there opinion is law (Animosity). As an Adult i see no reason to have anything i buy censored, or altered unless it was aimed at a particular crowd, look back at fighting games, Dead or Alive, Mortal Kombat, King of Fighters, they all have boobs and more recently, they bounce.
You don't have to like it, but we don't care if you don't either.
