And how can you use it effectively? Right now it just seems kinda useless. I think it's some form of a cancel but it's really slow and I cant jump off of it.

It's a good mix-up tool. So you're in the middle of a block string, you just threw out 5C, and take a little jump, you can throw out an overhead if you're high enough, or you can reland and do some pretty awesome things

You can tease zoners by being a cock

and you can use it in combos to delay yourself at the right height

If you hit Hakumen's shield (the 50% heat), just double jump and do Swallow Moon. You'll avoid it.

You could also use it for being in air some extra time, tricking your oponent in thinking that you will fall sooner.

I have yet to practice it against Rachel's wind, maybe when you're floating and Rachel uses her wind you could actually fly fast with that XD.

Yup. For example you can do 6C, which puts her airborne (sorta like Ragnas 6D) and cancel into Swallow, which is cancelable with any normal...it keeps her airborne then you can go into j.C > 22C > combo. It's also useful for mixup shenanigans since you can TK it. You can use any chainable normals into a jump cancelable one, TK Swallow, air move for an overhead. :3

Yep, its cancels into barrier blocking too, so you can use it as an option select for oki. For example, your opponent neutral techs in the corner, and here are your options while using the move.

1)
Say your fighting ragna, you might want to bait a dp and simply cancel it into a barrier block. Ive used this on several occasions to bait obvious DP's.
2)
Cancel it into an overhead. This is the most overused version of the move, but hey, it gets the job done.
3)
Cancel into a barrier block, thus allowing you to land and grab for a strange looking wakeup grab, this is my favorite of the 4, and works very well.
4)
Cancel into a barrier block, land, and use a low such as 2a or 2b. If the opponent gets used to blocking overheads I use this version, it also allows you to catch roll techs.

Its probably, outside of her 214c, my favorite of her moves.
You can also cancel normals like J.c into it allowing for double overheads and a crossup reset that I use that goes like this.
