if the US would stop being so soft and making our population a bunch of pussies who think they can do anything cause they're protected by "law" maybe at least the US wouldnt suck as much....

I totally agree. There are still a lot of 3d models that can make characters look awkward or not fluid whereas 2d can achieve this without any trouble at all. Expressions, movement and special effects are not only better looking in 2d (what I mean is the apex of 2d graphics has pretty much been reached already in terms of what can be done and 3d is a long way behind) but they're easier to make. It just happens to be that everything started needing to be 3d around the late 90s and it's been that way ever since (apart from certain exceptions ofc).

With regards to the wii, it definitely doesn't look like that's ever going down. Maybe in the eyes of 'true' gamers but the casual gamers that play it now essentially decide what nintendo do next i.e. release more gimmicks. Not to sound like an old man but KIDS THESE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!
