Yup.

Well I guess that may be a lie, if I count my younger sister.
She's only 11 but she likes fighting games and kind of likes Anime style stuff.
I let her play BB a bit and I told her a little bit about the story and she seemed pretty interested (even though it's not for young ones like herself).
If you asked her opinion of it she'd probably say she "likes to play with the pretty girls"

Her favorite character is Litchi atm it seems.

I've got two friends who play this game from time to with me; one just occasionally plays when he's at my house (he plays rachel btw so he'll probably never be good) and the other one owns the game himself, but he never has time to practice (a noel player)

Actually, i think it's possible for a cat to learn using a stick(although keyboard or hitbox would obviously better). I don't think they'd make the conenction to what's happening on the screen though.

For some reason, girl gamers who like some action like dead or alive (my little sister and friends play it from time to time, and the last time i went to a gaming con i saw a big group of young girl gamers playing the 3ds verison - and all using female chars) ... which is odd, considering how adult women just dislike the game simply for the 'objectification'

Ha, that's funny because my sister owns a 3ds and her favorite game is Dead or Alive for that same reason :p

I think it's because they want to look like them. Maybe not as "sexy" but they want to be attractive. Not sure if it's the right way to go, but I am sick of the women who rage about objectification, the young girls will choose how they portray themselves irl themselves. I believe It's healthy to want to be feminine, but obviously there's a limit.

I got my brother into BB, at first he was like: Why do you play such retarded games (Persona 3,4 and BB), after seeing more Hazama inaction(in the story mode and the animesexy cutscenes) he got into the game then i teached him few Hazama combos, sadly hes home once a week and max 2hours so we almost never play anymore :/ i also got my cousin into the game a big (his 8 lol) he plays beginner Tager,Ragna and Jin.
