Isnt it potentially a one hit combo against 80 percent of the cast? once done since it gives him 50 heat and leaves them stunned cant he immediatly use his 214214d attack to one hit?
Ive been messing around with it online and trolled quite a decent amount of people with it, some good some bad

Where are you reffering to for the 214214D to hit? Either way it's a waste of heat and will only damage the opponent for 300-400 dmg because of the high proration.

I meant at the very end of the combo when he uses the attack, im not done yet, he leaves them stunned and can then do the 214214d claw attack to finish them off, i tried seing if i could tech out of it and about 80% of the cast were either too slow or big to escape
Im no pro at ragna i was just wondering if anyone uses this

"Claw Attack" = Devoured By Darkness.

#1 - It has a VERY high proration, so it's bad to use it in a combo.
#2 - You can only use it during Blood Kain, so it's true cost is 100 Heat.
#3 - I use it all the time. If you have full Heat, you can activate BK then immediately use DBD. Without a combo, it does over 5k on its own. An excellent (although expensive) way to quickly turn the tide of battle.

Oh that....I haven't tried this myself yet so I can't confirm any information on that, but I think as soon as you tech out of 22C you can jump to avoid it no?

Either that or you can try and jab Ragna out of it because he has no invincibillty at 214214D.

Start-up, during the animation he has no invincibillity as seen on Round 1 where I throw you out of it.

EDIT: Nvm...It's just the "good" part cut out.......

to hugh, watch challenge 9, it takes 50 heat to start off the combo, and once the combo ends, (your still in blood kain) you use its not over yet, and having the opponent being stunned you can immediatly use devoured by darkness, and to falco, you actually cant jump out of it as a lot of the characters such as tager, hakumen, and hazama

Does the combo end in a reset? (22C)

If so, you can escape the reset and counter. If you're landing DBD on opponents at the end, they aren't trying hard enough to escape. I don't know if this is true, but you may be able to DP and use invincibility to escape DBD. I'll have to test this sometime.

Well, 22C does give Ragna frame advantage....but I am sure not that much that he could 214214D and hit it for 100% (on people without DP's and invincibillity stuff)
