After finally managing to get the B after the GH to hit (after figuring out that I could input the qcb during the gh animation and then pressing D at the right moment), I STILL do not manage to land the Inferno Divider afterwards.

Is the timing really strict or does this involve ultra secret techniques that I know nothing about?

No real trick. As soon as you press B start doing 623, then D when you've finished the motion. No delay needed.

If you're super new to the game you might just want to practice the 623 motion until you've got it down pat, as if you're too slow inputting it it won't register the Inferno Divider at all, in combo or not.

I did this challenge again to make sure there wasn't anything weird about it, but it seems like you just do B then 623D straight away with no tricks. So I don't really know what to tell you.

It gatlings together, so don't bother waiting.
