Hello everyone!!! I don't usually do fan art, but that just tells you how much I like BlazBlue (or Makoto that is :3). Thus I decided to get in on the action here and I will start with two images (I am currently working on a third right now).
First image:
This one was entered into the Zen United T-shirt competition. It was the twentieth finalist, which actually quite surprised me. I honestly didn't think it was good enough to make it that far, especially after I finally saw some of the t-shirt designs. The original design I couldn't use because I was going to use all sorts of colors and gradients, but Zen United limited the entries to only five colors and no gradients. So this had to do. I thank everyone who voted for this one, even if wasn't that many! (lol)
Second image:
This image I tried to get shown on BlazBlue Radio (続・ぶるらじ), but that didn't happen. It's probably because I'm not Japanese (the Japanese are known for being a highly xenophobic society). I know it's not perfect, but I am still satisfied with it, even with its imperfections.
I'm not for sure what made me draw Ragna with Makoto to be honest. The original idea was supposed to be Ragna by himself. However, the image just wasn't coming out right, so I kept scrapping it. As soon I drew Makoto in there, the picture was perfect in my eyes. Maybe it's a subconscious thing, who knows?
