---Makoto Nanaya--- [//Flash//]
She smiled, quite content in her successful assault that the youthful beast-like would be more than happy to give him exactly what he wanted; she slowly, and sinfully, slid down his back at a purposefully lazy pace - making most certain that Nox felt ever single curve and swell of her form as she did so before, with glacial speeds drawing away from him entirely to take up a position at the man's side.
Eat. That.
Oh-yes.
Around this time her eyes landed on Kazuya, then to Noel, "Yeah - Noel's adopted, and she's got a great family from the way she keeps talking about them." She smiled in a slight and mature fashion, "She wouldn't be here if she didn't love them, and eh, that's what counts." Even following it up with a small thumbs up motion.
---Rachel Alucard---
"I..." his words struck home; they always did - she found it surprisingly difficult to formulate anything remotely articulate as a response, it was considerably troubling when the vampiric girl could not at a moment's notice strike down her foe with belittling retorts and witty word play. She stood there, silently for a moment. "...refuse..." her lashes lowered so slowly it seemed as if she'd been on the verge of caving, "...to be guided by guilt,"
Was this partially her own fault? Had it not been by her own hand that events spiraled out of control? Or was she, as she'd been harassing Jin earlier about...was she delaying blame by accusing herself of fault? So naive.
"I did what was expected of me...you...you...I trusted you, you were the one who became the very monster my father foretold. You did that. You chose that." Her small fangs poked out over a slender lower lip.
"Nago...Gii...you will remain by Valkenhayn," she slowly began stepping forward. It was a graceful if solemn stride, "Valkenhayn...I wish for you to acquire our estranged doctor..."
Nago and Gii cried out in unison, "Princess you can't!"
"Silence you debauched and disobedient nuisances, do not for one moment think to question my authority. You will do as I say or I shall have Valkenhayn prepare for me a fine stew pulped from your persons," Was she afraid that perhaps she'd be unable to stop him? Did she actually care her two familiars? Or...did she just think they'd get in the way?
[//FLASH//]
Eventually it would appear that her mountain of packed items were neatly and carefully placed back into their regular areas; she quickly patted Nago on the head before encouraging him to become a cloak around her shoulders with a quick scratch behind the ears, Gii was given attention as she wrapped her arms around him comfortably.
Indeed, she tried to pace herself with a measure of dignity; now and then, however, Rachel would hasten her steps to make way to downstairs more rapidly. She didn't want to be late after all, and it was very much in her eyes and expression while entering her father's sight that Rachel could be seen as having incredible enthusiasm, "Father." She'd offer a delicate curtsy, "I apologize for having been tarty in my arrival, please forgive such crass rudeness on my part; I...am excited about the trip and took a leave of sense,"
---Taokaka---
The Kaka girl would grin, and that was a very scary smile too - those great jaws seemingly forming this vast and epicly eerie curve, "Tao's itchin' for a fight, mew...sneak? Good Guy? But doesn't sound very fun....~ Tao wants to play!"
---FLAK---
The woman sighed a little bit, though quite obviously she was not upset - in the slightest. "Oh Kazuya, sir; one would expect that a man in your position might just take a bit of flattery from being called a higher rank than he is," she would raise both shoulders in this innocent shrug.
"Me, do something against the code? Now why would I do that, I'm supposedly some sort of hero - have to set an example you know," she swished one finger, her eyes making a slightly cross but adorable face at him.
"What did you just say? Burning Orient town!?" She whipped about and stomped outside, nearly slamming her fist through the nearby com' unit. "HEY, GET IN TOUCH WITH THE CREW IN KAGUTSUCHI AND SEE WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON OVER THERE." - Oh yes, she sounded positively vicious. Like her tongue could peel skin just from it's sound.
When she walked back in however, her brows were arched and her smile back in place, "Now, dear, exactly what are you in here for in the first place? What are your charges?" She'd step around behind and a concealed knife sprang from her wrist - visible to Kazuya, "Listen, Lt. Colonel, Sir. There is such a thing as showing a little hospitality. She's a bright woman, I'm sure, and knows we'd rend her to pieces if she tried anything stupid. So why not show a little good faith, mm?" She'd cut the ropes restraining Noel's hands, the blade sinking back into Cathrine's coat sleeve a moment later. "There, how does that feel?"
---Nathanael---
"Predictable," the voice would utter in silent frustration as Nine remained unyielding in her position; not even one budging of good-faith or understanding to compensate Nox's aggressive posture. One hundred years was no insignificant portion of time, so Nathanael wondered idly how Nine would adapt given such a gap; apparently not at all it seemed. Caring about that woman had always been a chore, but perhaps his own sense of whimsy had been longer lived than he realized. Because Nathan still protected Nine.
Unfortunately for him...there was no vocalizing praise or support for either of them. At least if he'd been the one fighting Nox he could be certain that - if not his own survival; not that Nathan had any thoughts of dying today - the man wouldn't be killed. But as it stood now, Nox looked positively murderous...and Nine, he knew Nine would not simply die again. He'd made her promise...promise not to die.
So that was his troublesome position. The man sighed, brushing a few fingers against the shielded barrier; he'd learned a few particular items of interest over his long life. Magic was formidable, but it was not absolute. Like any defense it could be broken, like any weapon it could be shielded against. "So you'll go through with it than," he sighed, Warden's hilt still resting against his shoulder, the blade itself housed within it's scabbard and nestled within the crook of Nathan's arm. "This is not something you have to do, you are capable of better than this Nox; use wisdom, then violence not the other way around. We don't have time for this,"
