Sorry I will most likely be making a few threads when I encounter something I can't figure out, anyway.

I have been fighting this Noel player and it's a case of this player just barrages me with constant attacks.

I can't find a way to get back into my spacing game or attack at all, any ideas?

Backdash,

You have the fastest one in the game. v-13 has to predict and respond well to any bad attack they make.

Tager it is proably the easiest as he is Slow, however keep in mind His Sledge can go through any "projectile attack" (some normal attacks are projectile).

How ever if he misses (and rarely will a good v-13 be hit by it since her backdash at almost and range is faster and moves her back far enough not to get hit), you can punish it.

Regaurdless, anyhow vs noel. When ever they do anything risky find the correct punish and apply it. If you hestitate which many new v-13 players do you will die.

Also learn when and how to Counter assualt (see manual) it saves lives.

So how does punishment work in BlazBlue? In DoA we throw punish but it doesn't look like that is the correct method for this game

Were they spamming Chain Revolver? If so, you can do quite a few things to break out of CR pressure. Backdashing between her attacks and countering is one, IB into a counter attack is another option, you can also use any kind move with invincibility frames to get through it, (Ex. Most Distortion Drives) and you can also get a throw counter if you time your grab right when Noel does her "sliding" animation for some of her CR attacks. Hope that is somewhat helpful.

Punishing pretty much means that the opponent attacks, and it takes a split-second to recuperate and be able to continue attacking. During that split second, you have to punish him by hitting him with an attack and comboing into it. Grab punishing isn't very smart, since grab-teching is quite easy in Blazblue.

So what do you do when you are backed into a corner? Outside of barrier bursting I wouldn't know

General list of the combos from the pro. You have to learn to set them up per say but once you do you should get the idea. V-13 is not forgiving for making mistakes, (playing as her or agianst her in ct) She has been deemed OP by arc and it taking a hit before coming Lambda 11 in CS.

This is really useful, thanks dude!

if you get the chance to between their combos, you can either attempt to get a jab in, and continue the combo from there.

Or, you can barrier block, it pushes the enemy away giving you the chance to launch some attacks.

and i never really use Nu so, thats the best i got.

yeah, thats what i meant. That would be more risky though.

hmm, well if you got the chance a C attack then forward dash (teleport or whatever) might work too.

i dunno though.

just keep in mind though, my extent of knowledge with V-13 is with me being on the opposing end, and me as haku. So its just conjecture from what I've seen.
