Give me your brain.

>.>

I dream of being that good one day with Mu. Ah~, if only I'd gotten CT back in 09 or '10 like a friend suggested... ;_; (exactly like with me joining the chess team junior year in high school, I regretted not doing it sooner)
But I shall not give up! College will be priority but YEAH. I'll be great one day... I hope. ;3;

Benefits of being a 16 year old teenager in the middle of nowhere, I had time to spare :P

I've had loads of time on my hands for a long time, just less so when I was in high school and during college term. If I'd gotten started a year or two ago I'd most certainly be much better, but... >.<

If you ask me, the best way to win is to know specific match-ups.

My win ratio against Ragna is FAR higher than any other character. Not because Ragna sucks, but because I play Ragna myself, so I know his moveset, and I also know how to punish certain moves because back in CS1 it was non-stop Ragnas. When you play against the same character over and over you learn gatlings and you'll begin to predict what moves can (and most likely will) follow other moves, and you'll learn which moves you have that will beat that move.

Example: Ragna pressure with 5B. You can Fatal Counter with Noel 4D and take 4k no sweat.

Or Ragna pressure with Dead Spike beat with Noel 2D, again for 4k.

Since there's not much variation in online players, most everyone follows the same patterns. Usually what I'll do when I'm trying to figure something out is sit out on a blockstring and try every possible move I have to see which one breaks out. You're gonna lose a lot, but the only way to know is to try (or know someone who can tell you), and once you figure it out, you're golden!

I kinda rambled. Don't know if this is relevent to the topic.

Well, with Ragna, I can say he *might* be one of my best matchups, too (I still never predict DPs on wakeup :(), as I've faced him a lot via a friend of mine (the one with whom playing with for several weeks got me a lot better). I watch out for 6C a lot, I basically low block a lot but watch for 6B. lol
Buuut yeah. You spoke sense, Hugh. x.x

I picked up CT because one of my online friends started spamming pictures of Noel on his blog.
So I got CT for the psp. I really loved it after trying out story mode, then I slowly fell for the music, the characters, the everything. It was also during CT I actually learned how to play a fighting game without mashing (lol tekken) , and I believe I mained Nu and subbed Jin .

I picked up CS the day it arrived in the philippines (which arrived a week late, because apparently Starcraft was better than all the other games to merit a one week delay for all the other releases) , and I mained Lambda and Mu. I was so hyped about the game that I bought Makoto as well when she was released (I had no intentions of maining her then though).

...then a few weeks later I stopped.

Mostly because I don't exactly have a ps3 and I was using my cousin's, so technically when I bought CS and Makoto, that was for my cousin. And I was staying with them at that time until I was accepted into DLS-CSB that's in Manila. So I had to fly back home to my hometown to pack and move in to a condo near my college. That was around august last year, so I had detached myself from CS for at least five months, which I spent playing CT on my psp (dreaming that CS comes out on psp)

Around December, I had only realized there was a local community on Blazblue, and asked if I can join one of their casuals, and they said they would gladly welcome me. On the day of cassies, right after my classes ended I met up with Michi (is a pretty good tsubaki player now) so she can bring me to cassies. It felt good being able to play again, unfortunately I was pretty bad, considering it was five months of nothing but CT, and the level gap between me and the old players was pretty huge. But the experience, that being this was my first ever casuals and everything was kind of amazing.

A week after casuals, I brought myself to buy my own copy of CS, and a ps3, and bought the DLC characters on their sale days . I told myself I really wanted to be as good as the others. At this point , I've already decided makoto was going to be my main (which was surprising).

And it all kinda led up until now . I'm a decent Makoto player by right, but I'm overshadowed by two other makoto players that are just gdlk ;v;a

Haha, I only started playing Blazblue because I really love Arakune's design. I wanted to learn more about the character. But ever since I started playing the whole story of the game is amazing. Arakune will always be in my heart though, and his touching story with Litchi just melts my heart.

Basically when I first started I told myself that Arakune was going to be my main. I've always used him and became pretty good with him from watching tutorials and stuff.

Arakune is an asshole.

Be prepared to be kicked from rooms and have opponents dc before Ranked matches.

Just sayin'...
