Intro:

Runes. They were once the great source of magic and strength in the world. In a time of prosperity, they paved the way for greater human understanding. Only one rune was needed to power an entire city or army. However warring factions soon arose, creating 6 distinct guilds utilizing various powers and techniques. Destroying eachother, they dwindled into small numbers. Each guild only carried a single rune each, and all were trying to destroy each other's runes. Delegated to a single, powerful human, these runes were to be carried and protected at all times.

Even still, the war rages on, as they try to both protect their runes and destroy others. Everything must eventually balance, and peace shall be found, even through destruction. What path will you take?

Setting:

In a war torn world of magic, you are one of the Arcanus, those who hold the rune of your guild. You are also on a mission to destroy the other five runes, although your choices dictate the story. Will you choose to unite, or destroy?

All the guilds are currently gathered in a place called Entropis. It was once a peaceful city-state until the guilds fought there. Magic has been used to make buildings and connect them by floating structures, spanning high into the sky.

Each Guild has a base, and travel between guild bases is still a good walk as Entropis is a very large city. Within these bases and within the buildings of the city you'll find a cross between a futuristic home and a medieval castle, with crystal magic lights, and drapery, but also sliding doors and large stairwells and other architecture.

They are each determined by their color. There are no specific magic archetypes that you must follow, however you are restricted to one color and only one color. Once a color is taken, you must choose a different color that is not already owned.

The openings for this RP will CLOSE after all six roles have been fulfilled. I will accept 6 substitutes after the original 6 roles have been filled.

Do NOT ask to join after all roles have been fulfilled. I will accept substitutes for characters, if someone becomes unavailable to post. In this case, the Original character will be Deleted, and YOUR character will replace said character. BE FOREWARNED that all actions the previous character has made will be carried on to YOUR original character.

I will be the ONLY non-guild Character for this RP. This is for both special events and to have my own character.

Do NOT clutter this thread with nonsense(to a certain degree, of course).

Post all OOC content here ONLY, if possible.

Godmodding/Mary Sueism, etc, is unnaceptable and you will be warned for that behavior.

After 2 Warnings, you are on probation. After the next warning, you will be barred from the RP.

Fights are handled between the two authors with moderation by me. Try to be fair, and handle the fights well. Not every fight has to end with death, but If i see that your fighting to the point that you are at the brink of death then magically escaping, it will end with a warning, or in worse cases, I will end the result of the fight in your death.

Death is a part of this RP. If your character is killed, your guild is also defeated, and you will no longer continue in the story. Do not whine or complain. All consequences are a result of your personal actions.

As the GM, I reserve the right to hold autocracy of this RP. that means that what I say, goes. I will not be unfair, but don't argue with me. I make mistakes sometimes, If you feel a result Ive posted was invalid, then you can PM me about it and I may revoke the result. Logic is always good to have.

I'm Giving you guys a lot of freedom in the creation of the world. This is both an advantage, and a grave danger. Dont abuse it. A dog with rope will either hang himself, or go to the shade and lay down. Dont be the one to hang yourself.

Race: Hyooman

Abilities: Powerful earth and wind magic. Very inexperienced in close quarters though, and prefers to not do that kind of shtuff. She holds that tree for shits and giggles mainly, as in tradition.

Biography: Weiss is an intelligent, and powerful, yet irresponsible and ignorant recently-turned woman. She intends on unifying the guilds, but realizes force might be necessary to achieve it. She always means to do well for everything she can, and possesses a kind heart. However, she is not trained in political fares and hasn't been able to be very social for awhile.

History: Weiss was a happy member of a small clan practically out in the middle of nowhere. She was regarded as a child prodigy and somewhat of a deity within the clan, for her strong magical powers. She lived a rather obnoxious shelter life from that point on, the only human interaction she received was with her sensei and her parents, all of which weren't allowed to stand within ten feet of her. When the clan was wiped out by an unknown force when Weiss was about 16, Weiss was the first thing and person rescued, and was left as one of the few survivors. Later found her way to the White guild for companionship and purpose. She definitely found it there, and was eventually honored to be given the White Rune for safe keeping. Now she intends to end the conflict by uniting the six guilds, however she may be able to do that.
