Like....I'm pretty sure you learn nothing new in Valk's arcade ending, or in Taokaka's or in Carl's.




Uh...in CS, everyone's main path is canon because the time loops ended, only alternates are bad endings and gag reels.

Alternates may be important if things are elborated on but they aren't more important then the main path lol.

Time loops didn't end, though. That was the whole point of the continuum shift and Hazama having to look at every possible alternate world. They're still going strong.

Not only that, but I'm pretty sure at least some of them contradict each other, but it's been a while.

Continuum Shift is different to time loops.....

The time loops occured everytime Ragna and Nu merged into the beast, that failed, thus no more time loops then I believe as the world tried to stabilize itself it threw itself into a Continuum Shift.

You're just seeing alternate paths, not time loops like in CT.

The whole idea of the Continuum Shift is that they were another excuse for more loops. That was the entire point of Hazama's "you let me observe another possibility" speech and... most things he does in recards to the Takablahblah group - if there WEREN'T loops/alternate realities, none of that would have mattered. The idea was that while they were looking at just one reality, in that one moment when they were, Hazama was able to make his move.

If there was only reality, none of that would have been possible or would have made sense.

Given how Hazama applauds you (the player AND the character he's talking to) for letting him see another possibility in every arcade ending, and that he needed to see every possibility to be able to do what he did, I'd argue everything was "canon" in both.

No, Continuum Shift isn't loops, just possibilities, these haven't happened like the time loops but can be observed by observers like Hazama, he observed stuff that didn't actually happen but could have happened.

In each "possibility", though, they were canon. It's not like they're fanfiction written by Hazama, they did all happen and were canon in their own context - the real path is only "real" because it was made the "real" one. Remember, Takamabuddies were going to reset the real one just like all the other ones (or at least like Bang's time paradox one) before Hazama stopped them.

Wait, so Hazama and Rachel and Takamagahara actually see possibilities, not loops? That means they're psychics.
