How long did it take -you- to get proficient with your main?

ugh i think around 3~5 months but still iam not happy others are better then Me :evil:

I started with CS1 Rachel. I don't have online so I had no one to teach me. Slow learning curve for a shit tier character that was hard to learn. However I persevered and figured her out in 2 months. By that time however I found out about the patch. I learned CS2 Rachel in two weeks. If I may say so myself I think I am pretty good. Still learning character specific combos and that kind of thing.

I don't consider anyone to be a master until they can do well in tournaments and the such.

Freaking years, I played Jin so much without getting any better with him xD

I think have the game since April this year, or something, now and I've been playing Jin all this time to get to the level I am now (I took breaks from playing BB as well, of course).

Oh god, it probably took me close to 3000 matches to get proficient with Rachel before the patch. It took me almost no time to adjust to the changes and be proficient with her post patch though.

4\5 months. Bang is way more complicated then people give him credit for. they think he is simply a rushdown character with nails and teleport but there is a lot more to him then that....and i am still learning most of it.

i know this is the "main" thread but....i took only a few weeks to learn Ragna low-mid level stuff. Ragna and i are just like sandwhich and Cheese.

Makoto - I picked Makoto up around late december, it was only during my trip to hong kong earlier this year (around may; CS2 was out on the psp then) that I got to level her up to the point where I'm proficient with her somewhat.

Mu - I picked Mu up around September. People say I've gotten better with Mu and is better than makoto around November. So I guess around november lol.

Platinum - NOTYETDIDN'TREALLYSPENDQUALITYTIMELEARNINGHER.
