Well, she WAS nerfed from CT to CS1, it's just that she got a big (although well deserved, I guess) buff from CS1 to CS2.

Not sure about Extend, but I think she was nerfed (or others were buffed at least).

In Extend it looks like a step sideways. I'll probably still get big damage, but from different combos that require more hits.

Which is probably how she should have been in CS2 to begin with, keep her damage potential, just make it require more work to get, I believe the same thing happened to Makoto in CS2-Extend.

She was nerfed from CS2 to Extend, drive auto combos don't do 5k anymore because of higher proration rate. She still gets solid damage, around 3k or so mid screen.

I wish they'd just left her like CS1, she was a crappy character yes, but her old haida loop for 5k or more was the most satisfying thing to land.

I still miss CT litchi :<

CS1 Litchi felt like auto-run with massive damage and I never felt like I really overcame the opponent (since she was OP)

CS2 Litchi just feels... I dunno, weird. I feel like I'm always doing the same thing, and it feels more rushdown than it should.

Anyways, I've never really gotten proficient with any of the Litchis. The best I got was CT Litchi (I originally had a win/loss ration of, like, 21% because I played online almost right off the bat to get used to playing humans, but it rose to, like, something in the 30s, 37-38% I think, before my friend brought it back down).

CS1 Litchi I never really got very good at and only really won because of loleasy 5k combos and the fact that most people have no experience against Litchi, while CS2 Litchi I haven't really used all that much.

That's the same way I feel about Ragna, in CS1 he was loleasy mash 5k combos with huge meter gain, then CS2 he got a small meter gain nerf due to universal mid screen combo nerfage and he started sucking because without meter Ragna is a bad character.

CT was the most fun Ragna. Now in Extend he is basically CS1 Ragna with all the damage meter gain and all that shiz while his combos still look like CS2. Not sure how I feel about that.

I'll just go Jin and Bang more or something

Yeah, it seems to me that the biggest problem I've had with CS/CS2 was the fact that some of the changes were made for the sake of balance, but I'm not sure Arcsys were thinking about how that would affect the overall fun of the character. Removing the Itsuu combos from Litchi was a way of nerfing her well, but at the same time, the sort of back and forth between itsuu, kote, the three dragons, ippatsu, etc are what I found made her fun. Now, it seems most of her combos rely on getting pokes/CH, then using the j.BCB loop.

But still, I guess it isn't all that bad. CS1 was their first try at rebalancing the game, CS2 wasn't even a sequel, so I'm hoping CS:Extend turns out well. I've noticed a lot of Litchi players seem to have dropped her, too (or at least, that's the case with people I know

The thing about Noel, is that now I'll be doing CS1-like combos and getting CS2 damage.

And I never liked Haida. Yeah, it looks really cool and does big damage with big meter gain, but the spacing and timing and character specificness makes it hard to pull off on the fly. I almost never did it on CS1 for fear of dropping it, and only did 2 loops max on CT for fear of losing the correct spacing on the 3rd.

Noel was always a fun one, Haida was amusing

Me, i'm still learning things, Tsubaki has weird tech she can pull and it's ever so satisfying to land a 2k-3k combo and get the reset because they mashed

Tager....Well, is tager, Magnetism, smack people, win.
