This is my argument. Being Number 1 on ranked means nothing if you got all those victories by beating scrubs over and over with tactics that would never work on high level tourney play. Beating bad players doesn't make you a good player, it makes you a "not as bad" player, which is still not good.

Rank on netplay means nothing.

Yes but number 1 doesn't just mean he is better than scrubs. Number 1 means he is better than the good people too.

Netplay doesn't mean anything. Unless you have a lvl 3 connection or higher.

And even then it can suck at times. Just check out LiEUTENANT on PSN or Pisces Albafica on Xbox, they are both top 1 on the ranked leaderboards but suck reaaaaally badly.

In CT, some guy called ESP (or something like that) on PSN had around 10k matches and was top 1 rated.

Then me and alot of people faced him in ranked and he had NO fundamentals and all, NO combo knowledge aswell as confirming hits into maximizing his damage.

No, his name was D Burst. I remember playing him. He was amazing at the game, actually. He literally instablocked entire pressure strings. Idk who your talkin about.
