Lvl1: Players who know most of the basic combos, and can get most of the way through challenge mode with this character.
Lvl2: Players who know all the basic combos, and have completed the challenge mode for this character.
Lvl3: Players who have done the above, and know play styles against the rest of the cast along with having started creating their own combos with this character and familiar with move properties.
Lvl4: Players familiar with frame data, character specific combos, have made their own innovative combos, and generally know everything someone can ask about their main. Also this character has been your main for a while.

He is actually really fun to use if you play with a stick. Sadly my sister broke the game so I can't practice more.

I would also want to know how one would go about learning how to do actually do shit. Do I play challange mode until my fingers bleed or what?

I'm trying to sub him, but having been VERY dedicated to my character, I haven't really bothered trying to -learn- anyone else. That said I can play others, but I don't want to. Carl's the guy, I just need to know where to start.

If you don't play on stick than don't learn Carl.

He can't be done properly on controller and pad.

If you do have a stick I would suggest Challenge mode to learn some combos.

Also spend a lot of time experimenting in training mode.

What the hell does the controller have to do with anything? I do play on stick, but why wouldn't I be able to play on pad?
