For the past week i have been really sucking at this game I don't understand what is wrong with me.

A lot of people would say "It's just a bad day" but this has been happening for the past week. Two weeks go I was able to hold my own against most but today I lost to a tager that was just spamming sledge and throws so I said "screw it I'm done"

I feel like my mojo was stolen. I don't understand it. My rushdown magically sucks, my zoning magically sucks. I'm starting to feel ashamed that I am writing my Rachel guide with the losses I've been facing.

What do I do about this, how do I return to my former glory?

Take a break and after that you should train offline sometime and go to online again, i guess

Taking a break will only make you worse, since you'll end up being rusty when you come back.

Keeping at it, save your replays where you lose and see what you're doing wrong, record em and upload them if you can so that others can give you advice. Play people from the forum too, ask their opinion.

I remember I did play you about a week or so ago, I don't remember every little detail but one thing I remember is that you do 2C on wakeup way too much and it's easy to bait you just by dashing at you and blocking it for a free combo.

It's a shame I didn't play you today I coulda been of more help but oh well.

Oh and above all, don't quit if you care about getting better.

Yeah, any tips for losing my patience?

Usually when I'm getting corner raped I find my self cursing and swearing at the screen (although I can take a loss and do not RQ, polite as well). I panic and make stupid moves.

But any tips on calming myself down in a match?, Anger = recklessness and mistakes.

Try to rage after the match is actually over then calm yourself down I suppose.

Maybe you are thinking too much into it. If you just play and not think too much about it, you might do a lot better. I think it is just a phase. I have had that before in CS2 where I would just lose to the worst players possible for a week or longer, then somehow picked it up again.


For corner rape, it is quite simple. Watch what your enemy is doing, if it is a option select situation, then pick one. (For example Gadget Finger gamble)


I am not sure about Rachel but I think, Tempest Dahlia makes the enemy get stuck in blockstun while you can just move around freely. Not sure if it works in certain option select scenarios though.

I've had that repeatedly happen to me. I don't know what to tell you besides either play until you get of your rut or simply take a short break from the game. Either one usually works for me in my case.

Other people solve this problem differently, but when it happened to me I would play BB against other people every other day as opposed to daily for about a week, and do some training mode on the days that I don't play against others. Switching up your character for a bit sometimes can help too.
