Block block block. Wait for the Arakune to screw up in some way then take the advantage. Neutral game for Haku-men means more magatama to spare so waiting is not really an issue (As long as you have the lead/youre both tied) Look for the easy punish attacks such as the 3C and the 6C approaches. Also just look out for clouds in general and cut up bugs to stack magatama. If you still want to approach your best bet would be to use combinations of kishuu, jumps, IAD, and guren. Once youre in dont let up or Arakune will escape and try to zone you with clouds again.

thanks man, the problem with blocking especially if you dont cut his bugs is that it builds his curse meter every time you block his bugs, making it very easy to curse if you slip up in the slightist (or am i wrong?) staying mobile could be an answer? ,thanks for the other info............

Blocking does increase curse, though a whole lot less than if you had been hit by it. Basically if the Arakune is spamming ranom curse moves, ie any press of the D button, you can punish it easily since the moves take so long to recover from. Good Arakunes usually try to cloud, bell insect then apply pressure. If your problem is the curse meter try j.C, j.2C and j.B. Whenever youre jumping all ground curse attacks (a whole lot) are null. Just gotta watch out for Arakune's lick anti-air and its air pecks.
