In BBCS, i laughed my ass off when I was reading Ragna's storymode when he encountered Hazama.

The voiceactors kept saying "BlazBlue" when the text on the bottom of the screen said "Azure Grimoire". In fact, "Azure Grimoire" was used more in CT than it was in CS.

So honestly, which is the correct term in the english version of BB? Azure Grimoire? BlazBlue? Which is correct?

They're the same thing, Blazblue is just a shorter way of saying Azure Grimoire, basically a nickname lol.

I always call it the BlazBlue (bureiburuu) since that's how the Japanese call it (they made the game, thus they know the correct pronunciation). But then again, I don't go by most of the English translations because a lot of it is highly modified to fit "western" audiences instead of it staying true to the original. Such as "NOL" when it is actually "Administration Bureau" or "Nox Nyctores" when it is actually "ArcEnemy."

Personally I think it's Blazblue rather than azure grimoire, simply because in the jp version ragna say's burei buru (instead of calling it azure grimoire which is said as 'ao no something something' ) and eng ragna says blazblue although alot of people say that it's simply a mistake on the translators part. And there's also the case of the true word/meaning being lost in translation or the japanese language being modified for western audiences as mentioned by Red.

Yes I agree I like Blazblue better.

The game would sound weird if it was called Azure Grimoire: Continuum Shift.

BlazBlue sounds better and thats the name of the game so I would go with that. Azure Grimorie sounds like it means BlazBlue in a different language in which i thought thats what it was since they both called it either BB or AG.
