More practice writting, folks. Not a battle this time though, and it goes into other characters instead of Dark for a change.
----------------------------------------------------
"sir." A blonde man with crimson eyes walked into the somewhat large room, the walls being painted white and the floor being as blue as the sea. At the sides, furniture you would usually see in a working place could be found, but the most noticible thing was the giant wood table in front of anyone that entered through the front door, an somewhat old man sitting behind it on a equally outstanding chair. The young man's outfit consisted of the standard clothes used by those of the Brave Order, which included a pair of black business shoes, gray leather pants, white shirt and a blue jacket with red strips. Although the jacket usually remained closed to keep the looks of one using them strickly professional, the young man kept it open due to the fact he did not took high temperatures very well, and his status as a captain allowed him to do so without having to hear lectures about it from higher ups.
"Ah, Ryan. Right on time, as always." The man sitting behind the table stood up, his size being outstandingly unnatural, sitting in the very least at the 3 meters mark. His gray hair reached down his neck and covered most of the area above his black eyes, with his beard covered most of his mouth as well. He clearly worked out a lot, his muscles visible from below his outfit, which consisted of the same one used by those of the Brave Order, albeit much larger in size in order to fit him.
"What did you called me here for, sir?" The young man stared at the giant's face, his hands behind his backs and his face giving a cold look towards the one in front of him, enough to give anyone who could not look down on him so easily fear into it's heart. "I have called you here to discuss the young criminal you have been searching for over the past months. His name is Dark Wyvern, a C rank criminal, yes?" His voice showed some worry as his eyes closed and he crossed his arms, deciding to remain in silence for a few seconds in order to give the captain some time to think. "Someone of your rank should not be dealing with such low level criminals." He opened his eyes and stared down at the young man once again as his voice quickly shifted to a more serious tone as he did so.
"Sir, with all due respect, I fear his abilities make him more of a threat than his rank would say." The captain's voice was cold, yet confident on every word. His eyes never once looking away from the man in front of him. "Would you mind telling me more about this?" The old giant was clearly interested on the reasons behind the young man's pursuit for the criminal who's rank apparently didn't suit his abilities. At that moment, the captain closed his eyes and slowly turned around before walking a few steps towards the door, then opened his eyes again before starting his speech.
"There are 5 ranks we give to criminals who are searched by the Brave Order, and all of them have an bounty that increases depending on their listed rank and abilities." He turned around in order face the leader of the Brave Order once again. "First, we have the D rank. These criminals are barely above petty thieves, and are usually delt with by our trained soldiers fairly easily. They exist in the thousands, and unless among a group, are usually not much of a threat."
"Your point being...?" the old man was slighty confused by the captain's sudden speech about something he obviously knew, but his question was ignored as the young man continued talking. "Next, we have C rank criminals. Although much more of a threat than D rank criminals, they are also fairly more rare, and still managable by our foot soldiers...to an extend." He looked down on the ground before closing his eyes.
"I still don't get your point." He knew by now that regardless of what he said, it would not stop the young man's lecture, but did so either way for he had nothing to lose. "Next, we have B rank criminals. By this point, we are not dealing with normal criminals anymore. The ones found in this rank usually possess one or more abilities that make them stand out among the crowd of otherwise unimportant fools." The young man put special emphasy on the word 'fools', thinking very lowly of those labelled as criminals.
"You know, you're not going anywhere with this." The giant had already went back to his seat by that point, barely caring about the captain's words. "A rank criminals are among the most dangerous ones, usually having both powerful skills and the brain to use it properly. Luckily, they are just as rare as their rank would suggest."
"And I bet you're going to talk about the top players now, huh?" The old man's voice was deadpan, he being clearly tired of this useless lecture about something of no importance. "Yes...lastly, we have S rank criminals. Currently, there are only 3 of them, with the 'god of destruction' Bahamut being the most unpredictable one, making him our highest priority at the moment." His lecture finally over, his expression quickly shifting to that of annoyance when he noticed his leader not only refusing to pay attention to what he said, but making silly sounds as he played with super sentai action figures. the old man noticed that only after a few seconds, and quickly put the figures below his table, embarassed over being caught on the act. "W-well, could you explain your point now, captain?" The leader attempted to switch the focus of their conversation back to the original topic, mostly to escape the situation.
"...although Dark's fighting skills are only average to those of a C rank criminal, he should be considered in the very least, a low B rank criminal." He started to walk around the room as he talked. "From my multiple encounters with him, I have noticed that not only is he capable of creating new, artficial limbs from any part of his body..." he stopped walking before staring deep into the leader's eyes, his own crimson eyes being just as sharp as a spear when doing so. "but you could also say he does not die even when he is killed."
"Doesn't die even when killed? Sounds like something you would hear a duo of idiots bragging about before getting shot in the head by a clingy bitch. Not implying I know anything about such an event, of course." The old man's voice changed from serious to deadpan to denial across the sentence, followed by him looking away through the giant window behind his table, on the opposing side to the entrance of his room. "Regardless, as much I trust your word, Captain, I would need some evidence in order to even start considering raising his rank." He closed his eyes, but opened them shortly after it while putting on a grin on his face. "Your new mission is to find that, Captain."
"Understood." The young man answered the moment he heard the statement, he bowing down and closing his eyes before opening the giant wood door that is the entrance and walking away after closing it. The old man waited a few seconds to confirm he would not be coming back before pulling his action figures back and starting to play with them again, his laugh making him sound like a 10 years old kid.
As Ryan continued on his way outside of the Brave Order's HQ, a figure stood in front of the gates. "Looks like ya got something on your table, Cap~" he talked in style and voice tone that made him sound young and cocky. A closer look at him showed that while he was fairly humanoid, he also had traits that made him resemble a wolf, including a black gray fur and sharp, visible fangs, although a brown hat covered his eyes. He wore clothes fitting to his voice, using brown cowboy shoes, jean pants, a blue shirt and a brown, sleveless jacket. On his backs, there was a giant sniper rifle, clearly custom made.
"Fang. What do you want with me? I am fairly busy right now." The Captain's voice was true to his words, for he sounded like he was in a hurry and not in the mood for jokes. "News travel fast, Cap. I know what'cha doing, and I'm here to offer you my services~" The wolf put both of his hands on his pockets as he grinned, fully expecting his offer to be accepted.
"Heh. So Death's new toy wants to 'offer his services' to the Brave Order? Be my guest, it will only make my life easier." The Captain walked away after saying that, although not in the direction of the main gate, implying he accepted the offer. "You will not be disappointed, little prince. Once Fang is on the job, you can consider it done." He lifted his hat after saying that, showing his green emerald eyes and confident look before walking away. "If Good ol Dark-boy doesn't die even when killed, then you can say I don't know the meaning of death in the first place~"
"I have this weird feeling we're going to get in trouble soon." The yellow and blue fur jackal figure said as he sit under a tree while staring at the sky, the stars being visibly from any location that night. His revealing outfit of green pants that had holes on their sides, a long sleeves shirt that dind't covered his torso, gray greaves and gauntlets with a crimson scarf being unique regardless of where in the continent he found himself in.
"Is this your Jackal senses talking or are you just pulling cynicism out of your ass? Not that there is any difference." A deep voice came out of his head, insulting the young jackal who was clearly annoyed by the choice of words. "Maybe you're right...but I don't know." He continued to stare at the sky after saying that, shrugging off the small conversation from a few moments ago, not wanting to ruin the peaceful night by being negative.
