mmmh, ya, some of the character combo and strategy posts are kinda dead =.=

im trying desperately to bring noel's back up but i have no idea on any arakune info besides that i hate fighting vs him XD

i suggest going to dustloop, its a nice place to find good and detailed combo threads, a lot of forums actually just offer links to that site instead of writing a combo guide.

oh and when i say guide i dont mean story guide, i mean like strategy guide lol. and also you can give me combos.......
one REALLY good combo i know with arakune:
grab, super attack, D, jump, forward+C, Forward+C, down-forward+C.

signs:

D = X/drive

C = O/Strong

+ = at the same time as the following command.

, = then

- = do commands the - is between seperately.

Ok, from what I've read, you don't really know numerical writing, so here it is

imagine a phone or number pad on a keybord. It goes like this:

789
456
123

Now take a profile shot of someone like in BB. The basic position would be facing right (Player 1 faces right). That would mean that:

789= up+left(7), up(8) and up+right(9)
456= left(4), 5(no direction, neutral) and 6(right)
123= down+left(1), down(2) and down+right(3)

That would mean that a "down forward + C" attacks would be 3C. Dragon punch C (which is "forward, Down, Forward-down + C") would be 623C.

Obviously you know what A,B,C and D mean (If you use taokaka, some people use "S" for the taunt button, but that's not important), so you have to read different attacks using this system. A "half-circle-forward+B" attack would therefore be written "41236B". If you don't understand, then ask someone to explain it to you, since you need to know this for Blazblue. Once you understand this, read dustloop combo guides for Arakune and you should understand, since not many people use the "forward down forward-down B" notation since it's not very clear and very long (it's easier to understand 623B once you know how the system works)

I know, that's what I was talking about as well.

But anyway, Hut explains how the numerical system works, it seems confusing cause I didn't know how it worked but you get used to it after a while and can read it just fine.

Also, there's quite a few people here that main Arakune and can give you adivce, I'm not one of them, I just know he's not exactly the easiest character to figure out.

You don't really "memorize" them, since after a while, you get used to the buttons you press, kinda like how you learn peoples phone numbers through motion, not through the numbers themselves. Btw, do you have it on PS3 or X360?
